A new eating plan and some UFO's

First let me say THANK YOU to everyone who so kindly responded to my Fat, Fat, Fat blog post. I still don't have batteries for my scale because I haven't gone to the store but I have restarted my eating program. I'm even staying in daily touch with some of my blog friends who emailed me. So when I get my scale going again, I'm going to post one of those count down calendar thingies. Thanks again all who cared enough to encourage me! Love you guys!
I was moving some stacks of stuff by the sewing machine last night and found these ufo blocks that I wanted to put together to hang for the 4th of July.
I might abandon the full size quilt for now and just do a wall hanging. I could hang the flimsy.....
I've been working hard at my pesky "real job" and not getting to do all I want as far as sewing goes.
I was going to abandon sewing all together this weekend and just clean and organize my sewing areas but I don't know...I really want to finish some things so we'll see.
Hope the rest of your week is great and that you are happy and healthy! I'm going to tackle my writing assignments and see if I can get them done before the weekend so I'm free to sew...er, clean....yeah, that's what I meant...clean.... XO and cheery wave from Bev

Loved your post yesterday. Sounds so like myself, in so many ways. Sometimes it is eye opening when you see it in writing, and it brings it all home. Just wanted you to know you are not alone in this struggle!
Love the pretty quilt blocks that you posted today!!

Love those blocks but you know I love bright. You could hang it as a flimsy for the 4th and see what you think. Then you could always make it into a quilt. As least you could enjoy it for the time being. I say clean a little, sew a little.

What calender count down thing are you talking about? I might be interested in doing that, it might help keep me motivated.
