Hawaiian Baby

I got tagged to make a quilt for a new baby who will live in Hawaii! I used my Breeze fabric from In the Beginning fabric company and did a simple windowpane pattern.
Here's the quilting that I did in the windowpanes.
One of the fabrics in this collection was great for the binding:
And I pieced the back with leftover blocks:
I tend to hang onto fabric packs and when I use them up, I am sad....BUT, the quilt is finished, thick enough to go on the floor for a laydown and ready to welcome the little tropical baby. Hope you have a great week! XO and cheery wave from Bev

  1. I LOVE this little quilt - even the "back art"! Some little babe is going to love that for a long time! I get sad digging into my stash, on stuff I've held onto, but your end result is fabulous. Happy Monday, Bev - you've just made some new mom especially happy. XOXO
