My son, Eric, put a cast of sorts on my wrists (he brought red because it's my favorite color) and I can type and sew! I could probably clean too but I'll save that for tomorrow. I got another Civil War Sampler block done. I'm using that white with red flowers for the background for all of the quilt blocks. We have it in the store and no-one buys it! I'm using it for the background of the strawberry blocks I'm doing too. I love it. Anyway, this block is the Barbara Frietchie Star.
Tuesday is Dylan's birthday. She will be 4 years old and she's the baby of the family. Her Daddy, Jason, made her this birthday cake because her party is today:
It has 4 layers because she's 4 years old. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. And she wanted a "crown" on top. I think Daddy did pretty well. Unfortunately for me, she lives in Dallas so I won't see her on her birthday.
Hope you are all having a great day! I hope your weather is as good as ours is. It's a perfect day! I'm going to try to get some copy written. I'm writing about Christmas decorations so it's a fun assignment. I've been playing Christmas music to get in the mood. Have a wonderful weekend! Don't forget to enter our giveaway! XO and cheery wave from Bev
