Making Christmas Presents and the Sale Continues...

Things are tight here this year and we're having our family Christmas celebration this Saturday. There are so many grand kids, kids, spouses, boy friends and girl friends who all have families. And then there are ski trips and trips to Disney. It's hard to find a time that everyone can make. With the exception of Dylan, our 5 year old, the grands are all so big that they wanted to be part of the gift exchange (thank goodness cause there are 8 of them)! Dylan wants baby American Girl dolls and I'm sure she'll get several. So I'm stitching up a quick doll quilt. It took me less than 30 minutes to get the top done and I think it's cute. It's 36" x 36". I just stuck some borders on this cute "cheater" fabric from Riley Blake.

The "cheater fabric" and border fabric are from the Country Girl line that's on sale at the shop. Sorry but I couldn't get a decent photo because it's so cloudy here today and have a cheap camera. Here's a much better pic of the fabric:

Here's the border fabric:

And, if you happen to know how I can get a better photo on cloudy days inside, please let me know! The fabric sale is continuing! Fabric is half off my price which makes it $4.50 a yard and patterns are 30% off. If you are interested, you can see the fabric at my Etsy shop HERE. But don't buy it there! Just email me at: bev@44thstreetfabric.com and let me know what you want and I'll send you a PayPal invoice that reflects the sale price. Hope you all have a great week! XO and cheery wave from Bev

That looks very cute! Have ya'll thought about drawing names so each person only has one gift to give? My husband's family does that.
