LILY AND WILL FABRIC SNEAK PREVIEW

Lily & Will fabric by Bunny Hill Designs is a fabric line 44th Street Fabric has been waiting eagerly for! Created for baby, there are basically three lines within one because there is a pink, blue and green colorway-each combined with brown. You will find formal brocades with little bunnies hidden within and tiny, delicate florals and dots that are scaled to baby-size! This line also has a wonderful satin pleated trim that we have ordered to go round the edge of any baby quilt or baby project you make. Babies love to feel that silky fabric! We have already received the Lily & Will charm squares which include a 5" x "5 pre-cut square of each of the fabrics included in the line. You can make some adorable projects from charm squares and you can preview the fabric and see what you want to order when it is available in the shops. The Lily & Will fabric line makes me want another grandbaby! Are you listening kids?

SNEAK PREVIEW--BLISS FABRIC BY BONNIE & CAMILLE FOR MODA!

Everyone loves to see a preview of fabric coming to 44th Street Fabric! Bliss fabric from Moda will be in the shop in September! This great line is mainly red and aqua and that is what we chose for the shop. I love that color combination! Pictured is Camille - 1/2 of the design team who created this great fabric line! Check with us for Bliss - we have the Bliss charm squares in the shop (5" x 5" precut squares of every fabric in the line) and the yardage is coming soon!

SNEAK PREVIEW! FANDANGO FABRIC FROM MODA COMING SOON!

Back by popular request! Here's a preview of just a few of the Fandango fabrics that are coming to 44th Street Fabric! Designed by Kate Spain, this collection has that gorgeous celadon color combined with aqua, orange and brown. Yummm! Will be in the shop in August! We have the charm squares in stock now!

SNEAK PREVIEW OF HALLOWEEN NIGHT! COMING IN JULY!

Traditional and not too frightening! That's what we love about Halloween Night from Moda! Polka dots and old fashioned Jack-O-Lanterns! Can't wait!

FREEBIRD FABRIC TOTE BAG - WHAT I DID THIS AFTERNOON

I LOVE Freebird fabric by MoMo for Moda that we are selling in the shop! Here's the totebag I'm in the middle of making out of this great fabric from the Bella Bag pattern from Anka's Treasures! I love it! I just have to make the handles. I used the Freebird fabric butterflies for the lining and used the big--really big grommets. This was so much fun to quilt that I think I'm going to make a baby quilt and not piece any of it--just quilt it.

RURAL JARDIN BY FRENCH GENERAL FOR MODA

A little taste of Rural Jardin fabric by French General for Moda which is coming to 44th Street Fabric in March! This is just a tiny sample of the Rural Jardin fabric coming from this line. Those of you who loved Rouenneries will LOVE the Rural Jardin line too. The Rural Jardin colors are subtle and cool for Spring. AND, I just ordered a ton of the new Christmas line by French General that will be in the shop in June. Look for a sneak preview of that line soon!

L'AMOUR FABRIC BY SANDY GERVAIS FOR MODA IS IN THE SHOP!

Gorgeous Lamour fabric designed by Sandy Gervais for Moda is in the 44th Street Fabric shop. Pictured is one of our combo listings (you will save if you by the combo listings we have for almost all of our fabric lines)!

Romantic L'Amour fabric is just what I've been looking for in a Valentine's Day fabric that can be used for oh so many other things! I love this versatile fabric that has a red that is really red! I can see it made into bags, clothing, bedding, to decorate a room, a baby quilt and more. We are looking for projects to make from this fabric--if you have any ideas, let me know.

LOVE U FABRIC IS IN THE SHOP! SO CUTE!

LOVE U fabric by Deb Strain for Moda is now available at 44th Street Fabric! I've shown you on of my favorites, the ABC fabric in pretty pink with the coordinating dot fabric and the Snails and Turtles fabric in orange with the coordinating dot fabric just to show you how cute it is! In fact, I got a little note from Moda that came with the fabric that said they were cutting our orders short because this line was the most popular they have had in years and they wanted to make sure everyone got their order. Wow - that's really saying something considering they just came out with French General and sold out of it right away....hum... So you can see the rest of it (what we have left) in our Etsy shop and on the website. Just thought I'd show you cause the Love U line is so cute!

Our customers have told us that they love seeing some of the fabric we have coming to the shop so here's a little sneak preview of Love U! I just couldn't resist Love U! I love the fact that this line has some fabric that works for little boys with fabrics in oranges and blues as well as pinks and greens for little girls. Find alphabets, turtles, snails, owls, birds and other little creatures that will please any little one. We love the polka dots that go with this line too! So keep checking back - Moda says it will be here before the end of the month (that's a week and a half)!

ROUENNERIES BY FRENCH GENERAL

Rouenneries fabric by French General is in the 44th Street Fabric shop as of November 2!! We have decided to preview the new fabrics that are coming to the shop so that you can see! So each week we will show you 3 or 4 fabrics from the lines we have purchased!

Rouenneries is the first of the lines from French General (the same one Martha Stewart loves). This designer has been making very expensive reproduction fabric from antique French fabrics. Moda commissioned the first line of fabric from this great designer that we can all actually afford to buy. I first saw this fabric made up into little girls' dresses by a New York designer and they were to die for. As you can see from the quilt photo above, this fabric is also wonderful for home dec use. The red and oyster colors are sophisticated and look very high end.

I can't wait to see photos of items my customers decide to make with Rouenneries! If you will send them to me, we will feature them on our Flicker! Take care!

HUSHABYE FABRIC IS HERE! TULA PINK'S LATEST DESIGN!

Hushabye fabric has arrived at 44th Street Fabric! We just love Tula Pink and her amazing and unusual designs. I thought I'd show you a few of the designs from this awesome fabric line. We have these and more listed in the shop and we are still doing the free fat quarter give-away!

Our customers love any kind of damask fabric and the damask fabric in this line has little bunnies hidden in the design. How cute is that? I can't wait to make little girl things with this fabric! Big girl things (like tote bags, purses and home dec items ) will be fun to make from the bunny damask too! Tula designed her coordinating fabrics with her usual flair! The droplets fabric is like a polka dot but fresh and new. The circus dot fabric can stand alone or act as a coordinate with the damasks. Last but not least, the owl stripe will make a great border fabric for a quilt or just looks great on its own. Stop by the shop and look--you will love it!

Here's a little sampling of the so so cute Story Time fabric from Moda that will be in the 44th Street Fabric shop next week! It's our first venture into home dec fabric that is 54" wide and can be used for kids (or sewing room) curtains, duvet covers, bed skirts, pillows, totes, diaper bags and more! There are such cute patterns and I'm thinking of doing valances for the sewing room in these darling prints! Come and check it out next week!
