Buttern Churn Blocks for Farm Girls Friday QAL

Hi everyone! It's Saturday afternoon and we are going to have another round of spring storms this afternoon and evening. I'm not a fan of tornado warnings but everything is such a lovely green and the flowers are everywhere because we've had so much rain. I've just sort of vegged out today. I did do the Butter Churn blocks from Lori Holt's Farm Girls Friday. Here's the 12" block:

And here's the 6" block:
I don't know why but I didn't love making these. I measured and trimmed everything but they were still hard to fit together. Anyway, no more blocks from Farm Girl Vintage until next Friday. What are you up to this weekend? Hope it's a good one! XO from Bev

They are just adorable! I love your fabrics and their placement. You've such a good eye for color and print. You should write a book!

You did a beautiful job on your blocks. Love how the blue stands out with the red background in the first block. Love your little red block with the polka-dot background. I've finally cut my autumn star out. Decided to make all the 'season' stars in 12" and 9 of the simple stars in 6" for a quilt.
