Wednesday Dilemma - the Next Giveaway

Good morning! I was able to get two more Farmer's Wife blocks made yesterday! First is Butterfly at the Crossroads:
And the Farmer's Wife Buckwheat block:
I'm trying really hard to use the lighter colors. But take these two blocks...I like the yellow and red so much better. I added the light pink to the bottom block from another line (Baby Basics) and the yellow to the top block from Fly A Kite line. The other fabrics are still from Sweetest Thing. Ponder ponder.

I'll probably be working next on the next row for Lori Holt's Row Along quilt in the next few days. It is little coffee mugs! So cute! It's not too late to start if you haven't!

Here's my Wednesday dilemma. The Giveaway is over this weekend and the winner is announced next Monday. On Tuesday, I'll start a new giveaway. I'm thinking, because cold weather is coming, that I will do a giveaway of all flannel fabrics. What do you think? Flannel isn't just for baby quilts any more! I have a sophisticated line of flannel in the shop from Michael Miller. I love flannel throws for winter tv watching and Charlie and Lola love flannel even more!

So I'm going to go get my work done today (writing about pond pumps...woot). Let me know what you think about a flannel giveaway. It would be for 7 yards of flannel...enough to make a nice size quilt or tons of baby stuff. Have a great Wednesday! Cheery wave from Bev

Lovely blocks! And flannels are warm and snuggly (what's not to love)?

Love, love, love flannel. It is so soft and stays that way, much different than flannels of old.

Beautiful blocks. I too, like the brighter colors. I think flannel would be an excellent giveaway! I would make a quilt for my g'baby. Thanks for the giveaway.

Whatever you want to do is very generous. Flannel would be nice to try for the "littles" in our extended family.
