I love to read other people's blogs. Recently I've noticed a trend--almost a disturbing trend. People are taking pictures of their feet and posting them on their blogs! There are shod feet, bare feet, toenail-painted feet, group feet, family feet...what is up with this? I thought maybe I was just imagining the number of feet on blogs so started collecting them. I stopped at 24 when it occurred to me that I've made my point. If I had known how to make a collage, I would have done that. Here are just a few "representative" feet. Anyone know what has sparked this phenomenon?

44TH STREET FABRIC GIVEAWAY! 2 WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED JULY 5TH!

Here's 44th Street Fabric's next giveaway! This giveaway will have 2 winners and each winner will receive five (5) one-half (1/2) yard cuts of Rural Jardin fabric by French General! That's a total for each winner of 2.5 yards of fabric from this beautiful line from Moda. Let me repeat that each winner of a 2.5 yard bundle must have their email address on the entry so that I can contact them to get their mailing address.

Here are the rules for our Giveaway: It’s kind of like “Find Waldo” but you will be looking for a photo of our owner, Jason, in one of the listings for French General's Rural Jardin fabric listed in our Etsy shop. We call our contest “Find Jaso”!

FIRST: Go to our Etsy store (just click on the link). SECOND: Look for the Rural Jardin fabrics. There are quite a few listings that feature Rural Jardin fabric in the Etsy shop. Jaso’s picture could be hiding in any of them! THIRD: Leave a comment on this blog entry and tell me the fabric listing in which you found Jason’s picture. Easy-peasy and you will be entered to win! Comments will not be shown on the blog until after the contest is over but you will be entered. Winner will be announced on Monday, July 5th! Be sure to leave your email address on the entry so that I can notify you if you win!
Because of issues with my email which will have to be sorted out by Jason next time he is here, I cannot access your email from the web.
Each of the 2 winners will receive one-half (1/2) yard of each of the Rural Jardin fabrics shown here.

If you Twitter about our contest and and put the link in a comment, you get an extra entry. If you blog about our contest, just put the link in a comment and you will get 2 extra entries. Let me know you are a follower and you will also get another entry. The winners are chosen at random by www.random.org. Let me know if you have any questions and GOOD LUCK!

WE HAVE WINNERS OF OUR BLOG GIVEAWAY ENDING ON JUNE 21ST

Ta Da! We have winners! First, let me say sorry that I apparently deleted (or Blogger deleted) about 275 comments and they are not shown on the giveaway. But the winners were selected last night because Blogger said there was a problem with the volume of entries so everyone who did comment was considered and was in the random generator drawing! I'm not sure what the problem was and will not do such a long giveaway next time. In fact, I'm putting the new giveaway on the blog today and will just run it for 2 weeks.
Those who did not leave their email address will need to just find out they are a winner by checking the blog because I can't email you and tell you that you won and get your mailing address. Those people can email me at: bev@44thstreetfabric.com. Thank you all for entering and I hope you will continue to enter our new giveaways! We love doing them!
Here are the winners:
1. Connie in Snohomish, Washington
2. Duff of Bacon Then Eggs (I have your email)
3. Debbie (I have your email)
4. Nancy (I have your email)
5. Jay Tees Patchwork
6. Wendy of Why Knot Kwilt
7. Jorie (I have your email)
Thanks everyone!

SALTBOX HARVEST BY DEB STRAIN PRECUTS ARRIVED YESTERDAY!

Saltbox Harvest precuts arrived at 44th Street Fabric yesterday! Saltbox Harvest by Deb Strain is just a yummy Fall line with all the colors I dearly love for the season!
I couldn't wait to start a table runner for Gina who is hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year (right, Gina?). The picture shows what I made with 1 Saltbox Harvest charm square pack but I might spring for a second one and make it longer because she has such a big table. I just traced my coffee mug top for the circles and did the iron-on thing. I'll probably just straight stitch around the circles as I quilt it. I collect American redware and this line of fabric is a perfect match. I just wish my camera was better.
We also got the fat quarter packs and those contain 2 of the panels shown and a fat quarter of every fabric in the line. We've already almost sold out of the fat quarter packs--I wish we had ordered more....well, I'm rambling. It has nothing to do with the cleaning I'm putting off...honest...
